This method of connection can be used for unsupported transceivers or transceivers with no computer interface (older models). Automatic switching is possible using logging software, that outputs BCD BAND DATA info to the LPT port. Using the LPT port, keying the transceiver, switching antennas, PA etc. is also possible.
