This method of connection is used for transceivers fitted with the CI-V communication interface. In this way, logging software controls the RIG and keying via the COM port, and BAND DATA is acquired serially.
The PTT signal comes, to the RIG via IC2 reduction, which frees up the ACC connector for further use (e.g. PA control).
